Lois joined South Island Medical Clinic after graduating from pima Medical institute in North Seattle and working as a Certified Nursing Assistant with seniors and people with disabilities.

Lois and her husband moved to Whidbey Island 20 years ago and started a small farm, selling flowers, berries and produce. She continues to sell produce and custom bouquets at local farmers' markets.

When not working, Lois enjoys spending time with her family, camping and creating new gardens through landscaping.

Lois loves helping people and especially helping people to feel better.

Carol, Medical Assistant

After serving four years as a Medic in the U.S. Army, Carol worked as a medical assistant and office manager for nearly 30 years.

She and her family were "weekenders" until summer 2012, when they sold their house in Woodinville, quit their jobs in "The City" and moved to Whidbey Island.  They love living on Whidbey.

Carol has always loved her job and helping people feel better.  She also enjoys her two dogs, hiking, camping, and spending time with her family. She especially loves time with her two young grandchildren.

Carol looks forward to meeting the patients of South Island Medical.

SAVANNAH, Registered Medical Assistant

Savannah graduated from Pima Medical Institute in Seattle, joining South Island Medical in February 2014 as a Registered Medical Assistant.  

She was born and raised on Whidbey Island and enjoys the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.  When not working, Savannah enjoys riding her quad, camping and spending time with her family and friends.  

Her favorite part of being in the medical field is that it's always changing due to advances in technology and new information.  She enjoys working at South Island Medical because she loves working in a friendly, family oriented atmosphere and meeting new people.

TAILYNN, Receptionist 

Tay was born and raised on Whidbey Island, went to South Whidbey schools, participated in Horse 4-H for ten years, and graduated from Coupeville High School.  She has graduated from a Medical Administrative Assistance program and intends to return to school to get certified as a medical assistant.

Tay loves working with children and helping seniors, but away from work she loves spending time with Buddy, her horse who she's had since the day he was born on her parents' property.  She also enjoys hiking, traveling and writing.

Tay is inspired by the medical field and hopes to continue advancing in her career.
