COVID-19 Vaccine Information

South Island Medical

Updated: 03/02/21

We know everyone is very anxious to get their vaccination for COVID-19. And while we wish we could provide specifics about the when it will be available and why your scheduled appointments keeping getting moved out because of it, we just don't have that information at this time. The state is having a hard time keeping up with the vaccines requested vs the number that the federal government is sending us. Just remember, SIM and the other healthcare providers and pharmacies wish they had the amount needed to get everyone the vaccine as their phase opens.

We are partnering with Island Drug to have us as an available vaccine administration site. We keep trying to have the availability of doses to administer here, but there just aren't the availability of vaccines. When we have them for Island County and there is the availability for the vaccine with the supply allocations you will be able to schedule your appointment here at SIM on the Island Drug website. Click the button to go to that webpage:

To expedite the process in clinic when receiving your vaccine, please fill out this form and print out, and bring with you along with your insurance cards.

We can also tell you that Whidbey Health does have appointments available for scheduling starting March 8th. Go to schedule for Whidbey Health vaccine here. You must make sure your meet requirements of FindYourPhase WA prior to scheduling as the do require proof. For COVID vaccine info at Whidbey Health you can call 360-678-7656 ext 6000.

You can contact Island County Public Health's COVID-19 Call Center at 360-678-2301 or email them at pubhealth@islandcoutnywa.gov with any questions regarding the vaccine.

Please do not call either Whidbey Health or Island Drug for vaccine appointments or scheduling information. When more doses are available, more appointments will be added. You can check on ICPH website for updates as well at:
